eBay Auction Home Business Tutorial: Registering As An eBay Seller

Past eBay auction home business tutorials have concentrated on deciding what to sell, what price to charge, what payment methods to accept...but once we've decided on all of this, we've got to go out to eBay and create an account!

Starting an account on eBay is a simple process, and even better, it's free! If you're 18 or older and you've got Internet access, you can have an active eBay account in just minutes. Just go to www.ebay.com, click on "Register Now", and you're off!

Having said that, here's what to expect during the registration process and a few hints on choosing a username.

eBay will ask you for a valid email address. Almost everyone has an email address through a free service such as Yahoo or Microsoft Hotmail.. and that "almost everyone" includes scammers. For that reason, if you use a free email service, eBay will require credit card information from you in order to validate your identity. eBay's registration is free, so you won't be charged. (As an eBay seller, you'll need to provide eBay with a valid credit card number anyway. Buyers aren't required to do so.)

You'll need to create an eBay ID. Your potential customers are going to see this name every single time they look at one of your postings, so don't get too crazy. If you hate the one you come up with, you can change it after you've had the current one for 30 days. Don't get into the habit of changing it too often, because that does make some potential buyers suspicious.

You'll be prompted to create a password, and also to choose a "secret question" that eBay will ask you in case you forget your password. I'm not a big fan of sites that have secret questions for you to choose from rather than writing your own, but most sites do that. Whatever you do, don't choose the "What is your mother's maiden name?" question. The answer to that is easier for someone else to get than you might think.

You'll be asked for your date of birth, just to make sure that you're of legal age to do business on eBay.

Finally, you'll be asked to agree to eBay's User Agreement. It's boring, but you should read it before checking the "I Agree" button. Once you do this, you're almost in! eBay will now send a verification email to the address you gave them, and you must click on a link inside that email in order to finish the signup process.

Congratulations! You're now ready to post items on eBay. You're going to see some odd symbols and numbers next to your eBay auction username, and we'll talk about those and what they mean in my next free eBay auction tutorial!

Cruise Takes A Bruise

Viacom gave Tom Cruise the bruise of his career or, more exactly, its cantankerous chairman, Sumner Redstone, did, for behavior unbecoming an employee of the entertainment giant, saying Cruises shenanigans are not acceptable to Paramount.

Redstones punch to the career launched an entire boxing match of bruising comments.

Mr. Cruises attorney shot back in un-lawyerly fashion, calling his comments disgusting and saying hes lost it completely or hes been given breathtakingly bad advice.

And Creative Artists Agency, which reps Cruise, indicated it might not do more business with Paramount if Redstone was going to continue directing the show from his celestial perch. "Paramount has no credibility right now, the agencys president said, and, as any good politico would, immediately voiced an implied plea for Viacom to get its act together so the two megabuck makers could continue their prosperous co-adventure, saying, It is not clear who is running the studio and who is making the decisions.

Redstone, energized by the effect of his power punching, swung out with, It is about time that the industry started dealing with these stars in a different manner and let them know that they are not going to get big money and act in a way that is inappropriate and embarrasses the studios.

Then he even dared brag about a call complimenting his decisiveness, saying that he had behaved like Samuel Goldman, the famed bullying producer of yore.

While Cruise, the manic scientologist, is culpable for leading a life according to the usual sort of celebrity ignorance, Redstones self-flattering association with Goldwin reminds us a story about a duo of other famed producers gone by, Larry and Harry Warner, that might have some applicability.

The old saw goes, a person calls Warner Brothers and asks, Is Larry there?

The operator replies, No.

Is Harry there? the caller inquires.

No, the operator intones.

The person gives up and decides to call back the next day. Hes told the same thing.

Wait a minute, he says. Every time I call, you tell me Larry is out of town and Harry is tied up? Whats going on?

Oh, the operator replies, every time Larry goes out of town we tie Harry up.

4 Easy Tips To Increase Your Sales Page Conversion

Do you know most Internet Marketers fail to make money online because their sales page lack of certain tiny things? It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out how to convert your sales page into a money making machine.

Here are 4 tips to increase your sales page conversion:-

1) If you plan to make money online selling software products, always give away a free demo that becomes increasingly useless over time.

Take WinZip, for example; if you don't purchase the full version, it slowly takes longer and longer to use it. This is a good model for demo software products. Only give out a limited product that becomes less useful over time without the upgrade. If your software is good and people just love using it, they will definitely upgrade it thus make money online for you just like that.

2) If you list the benefits of a given product, you will want to use good images as bullet points.

For instance, using clear, fast-loading check marks or "x" marks can significantly improve your sales page conversion rate. Additionally, you will want to pay attention to the colors you use. Red and blue usually work best. By doing this simple trick will easily make money online for you as your sales page looks more like written by a professional person.

3) One good way to increase your conversion rate on your sales page is to add a picture of yourself in the top right corner.

This piece of personalization will help pre-sell your visitors by letting them know that a real person is actually selling this product, rather than some nameless entity or pen name that is used to cover up someone's identity. Visitors who read your sales page will be more likely to buy from you just by applying this tip.

4) One effective way to increase conversion rates on sales pages is to scan your signature, save it as a .jpeg or .gif; and then use it to "sign" your sales page.

If you do not have a scanner, you can also purchase a natural handwriting program, such as v-letter, to do this task for you. Simply seeing a real signature will make visitors more likely to buy and you easily make money online.

As you can see, by showing the professionalism design in your sales page, your conversion rate will be much higher than before. Also, by applying any of the tips given, you will make some serious money online so check your sales page and make necessary changes right away.

Autoresponders: Laying The Groundwork

Autoresponder software has become a meaningful tool in plowing fertile soil for a marketing harvest. The whole notion of autoresponders has grown beyond a simple means of connecting with anyone who seeks to get in touch by email.

One area of autoresponder growth that may be worth mentioning is a web-page autoresponder. In this scenario a webpage is developed that will list various free informational products you have available. Your visitor can check the appropriate box and begin receiving the timely delivery of informational items that can inform and create a level of trust between the visitor and your online company.

Some of the autoresponder information you may wish to make available to your visitors may include informational articles that have a good track record with your customers, an e-course on your product or service, an e-book, and a listing of your RSS feeds. You might also consider a welcome message through autoresponders that provides general information about you and your company.

Autoresponder software can allow you to send your message in plain text or html. Autoresponders can also allow you to place photographs or logos within the body of the message and they do so in a way that allows for meaningful follow-up with limited personal oversight.

Some of todays best autoresponder software is priced under fifty dollars and there are multiple business options available. While the use of autoresponder software may not be essential to the delivery of autoresponder messages these resources can help you keep track of recipients in a more comprehensive way.

Probably the most intense work involved in the marvel of autoresponders is setting it up and developing a series of informative articles for your visitors. The last thing you want to do is simply throw something together and hope it connects with your clients.

You should spend quality time in the development of whitepages, articles, e-courses or ebooks. These can be a valuable tool for your company, but not if they are riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes or if they are composed in a way that is more hard sell and less informational.

Many companies have benefited greatly from autoresponders, but care needs to be taken up front to ensure their long-term usability.

If you are not a writer it is in your best interest to locate a freelance writer to develop the autoresponder information you believe to be most important to your companys growth. Many of these professionals can create an e-course or even an e-book that has the potential of providing significant ROI.

Improve You Dunking Ability In A Shortest Time!

Ever noticed that even ballers who can jump really high, cant do some special dunks like 360s or windmills? They may do it in a powerful way because of their vertical leap but they cant do a certain things.

Why is that?

Do you think that even if you are as tall as Vince Carter and have his vertical leap youd be able to dunk the way he does it? Hell no!

Not only does he have developed the right muscles for dunking but he has the touch for the ball. Now thats important right there. He has control over the ball.

Everytime he spins for a 180 or 360 degrees he knows where he is.

Or how about this? Spud Webb winning the slam dunk contest in 1986. That little guy cant even palm the ball.

Well who said he needs to?

I can teach you with a little practice, how you can maintain control when you spin for a 360 and how you can do a one-handed dunk without having to palm the ball (except if you want to slam dunk in someones face:) which Ill also cover later in this article)

First of all, dunking demands your devotion. You cant just hope that someday when you grow taller, or gain inches to your vertical youll try something else.

**TIP You cant never be TOO fancy when trying new dunks.

Use your imagination, it will push you far.

Even though Ive been practicing day and night in my back- yard basket I couldnt see some measurable improvements at first. Ill show you some very useful tips so you dont have to learn them the hard way (and the hard way aint pretty:)

Probably the most important thing when spinning is your head. The head is the leader. Thats the way it is in gymnastic, thats the way it is in BASKETBALL too!

Always remember, when you spin, always turn your head toward the rim first and your whole body follows. This sounds really simple but believe me it can help you when you practice.

Palming the ball. Most of my friends say that you cant do one-handed dunks without palming the ball unless you are tall enough. Not necessarily! Sure it helps if you can palm the ball. You have better control over the ball and thus you are more confident in your dunks. This is important too.

**TIP Lick you fingertips for better palming.

But instead, you can do it this way. The next time you go for a one-handed dunk, catch the ball with two hands right before you jump. Bring it up as your body goes up after you jump. As you extend your arms, turn away your left hand (if you are right handed which of course means you dunk with your right hand, if you are left handed turn away your right hand) and as soon as you reach that point slightly above the rim you can dunk the ball. Read that carefully.

For those of you with true passion for this game!

Lets look at some ways you can do in-your-face-dunks. For doing in-your-face-dunks, its far easier if you can palm the ball. Thats for sure. Unless of course you want to dunk with both hands which is little harder to do because of two reasons.

1.) - You cant jump as high. Thats a fact. If you dunk with both hands the level where the ball is can never be higher than if you dunk with one hand. And..

2.) When you go up with a palmed ball in one hand is very easy to extend your whole body to the MAX and thus hide the ball from the defender.

So if you decide to dunk in someones face with one hand you can do it this way. While you are going against the rim and you see that the defender is trying to block you, you simply put the arm that is not holding the ball (with your wrist pointing at the defender) in front of you so that he wont be able to reject you that easy. It really helps because this way you are in a better position.

You can even hide the ball by extending the arm that you are holding the ball with even further. And assuming that he is not really 10 inches higher than you and 2 times stronger, you should be able to *DUNK IN HIS FACE* Let him know who he is dealing with. It will scare him even more the next time he tries to reject you because subconsciously he knows that youve already dunked in his face.

Another way you can do it is if you decide to dunk with two hands. This helps if you are not as tall as your defender but you are little stronger. If you are somewhat stronger you can do it because of your body. Your body will dominate in the air and it will push his body away thus getting *you* closer to the rim.

If you decide to go with two hands you should hide the ball by bringing it behind you head if you have the time to do that (meaning you have a decent vertical leap)

Now, there is another very important factor and that is the positioning. If the defender is ready to reject you (assuming he is as tall as you are, and has about the same vertical leap and is about as strong as you are) then its more difficult thing to do as opposed to if he was 2 seconds late (meaning youll be in a better position CRUCIAL)

If you find this article interesting you can check out my website www.aware-jump.com for the most effective program for increasing your vertical leap with FREE bonuses included for a limited time offer.

What Writers Must Know about Internet Commerce

Let's assume you're a writer and you want to make money by writing. In the olden days (last year, maybe) you would think up an article idea, hammer a few paragraphs out, and then check with some editors if they were interested in buying a finished product.

If you were lucky, you sold it. If you were not exactly unlucky, the editor rejected your idea but paid you to go out and write something else. And the most common response was a great big bunch of nothing. No response. No answer. No sale.

You have probably heard that a writer can make money on the Internet, but you're probably thinking, "How on earth is that possible?" After all, just about every job offer that comes to writers for Internet type stuff pays less than even a skinflint magazine editor would have paid ten years ago for the same material. The big difference is that the Internet publishers seeking writing support want their content virtually overnight and the old-fashioned editors did not mind giving you a few weeks.

There are two ways to make money on the Internet and they mirror the ways people make money in the brick-and-mortar business world. First, you can sell something. Whether it's ceiling fans or candles or airline tickets, you can make money if you have a product that you can trade to people for cash.

The other way you can make money online is by selling advertising. The best models for this include TV programs, magazines, and newspapers. Take a TV program; it's content that is offered for free to people who want to see it. A newspaper isn't exactly free, but it contains a lot of high-value content from around the world and it's offered at a very nominal fee (less than it costs to print it, I bet) to just about anyone who wants it. They'll even bring it to your house every morning! Who else will deliver for a product that does not even cost a dollar-for no extra shipping and handling fee?

Then there are magazines. They cost more but they're still a great buy considering the content you get, the articles, the pictures, and the sheer volume of printed pages.

So how do these enterprises make money? They do it by offering content that people want and then selling advertisement. TV shows make money because they sell some of their viewing time to advertisers who offer commercials. Newspapers and magazines do take in some subscription money, but the thing that keeps them in business is ad revenue.

And how do advertisers manage to survive? Smart businesses know the best opportunities for their particular type of advertisements. There's a whole science to that. If a well-placed smart commercial on a certain TV show increases sales, then everybody wins. The company earns money because the ad draws customers; the TV show earns money because it sells time (and eyeballs) to the advertiser.

You can build a website that features lots of top-quality content and then sell advertising on that site.

Now you can't just throw up any old site (and the operative word here is "throw up") and figure that advertising will work. You need a quality product. You also have to offer something of value.

That's where the good news comes in: you're a writer.

You can create your own online magazine of sorts. The goal is to attract people interested in the same subject to look at your site. There's a whole science to that, too. But if you do it right, people on your site may be interested in ads on related subjects.

The Internet is all about niches. Let's say you want to write about dogs. Bad idea. It's too broad for the Internet. With the Internet you have to think narrow. You could write about dog training. Or adopting poodles from the pound. Or photographing dogs.

The idea is that your highly targeted information will resonate with a particular subset of readers. With billions of Internet search a year, you don't need to have broad appeal to get a big audience.

Then you sell advertising. Now in the traditional business model, that meant pounding the pavement, talking to potential advertisers, and often working with them to get an ad finalized. Then you had to hound them for payment.

On the Internet, you can sign up with search providers to put ads on your site. These ads (offered by the big search engines) use electronic algorithms to automatically match ads by content to your site so that your dog training site won't offer ads for gastric bypass surgery. You don't sell a single ad: you merely clear some room for Google or Yahoo to put ads on your site. They match the ads to your content.

In the print world of our ancient ancestors, an advertiser paid if his ad ran, regardless of whether anyone responded. Internat ads work on a different model; they run for free and the advertiser pays only when somebody clicks on them. This is what is meant when they say advertisers pay for clicks.

The good news is that you can find qualified advertisers and start generating ad revenues from a website pretty quickly without ever having direct contact with your advertisers.

You can also get advertisers the old-fashioned way by selling space on your site to individual vendors. Those arrangements are worked out individually.

Savvy Internet entrepreneurs can make money either selling products (including electronic products like e-books or online courses and now even online audios) or selling advertising or a bit of both. There are strategies for what to use and how, but those are the basics.

So what exactly does this mean for us writers? Writers need to start thinking about what they write not just in terms of how to tell the story, but how to best position the content in the marketplace.

If you can set up a wholesale arrangement with local or even international vendors, you can sell products using a "shopping cart" type website, lots of photos, and some cool product descriptions.

If you have the expertise (or can get it) and can write about how to beat a speeding ticket, land a job working on a cruise ship, or sell your home without a real estate agent, you can write electronic content (e-book, e-course, other materials that are delivered online including audios and videos) and sell that.

First, of course, you have to understand how these kinds of enterprises actually function. Even some off-the-wall business angles are good to study, because the same principles always apply. You target a specific niche market, develop content to attract visitors, and then sell either advertising, products, or both.

Guidelines to a Better E-commerce Success

Its a world of Electronic business or more commonly known as E-commerce where shopping buying selling etc are done online. To have a successful business the e-commerce site owners need to avoid some vital mistakes. Following are few of the guidelines to help the ecommerce sites to do better business.

* Show Trust

Show trust in your customers and do not ask them to register even before they start their shopping. Asking them to do that will put them off and you will end up loosing valuable customers. By asking them to register right at the beginning you are compelling them to buy your goods. It is not necessary that the customer will buy everything he/she puts in the shopping cart so dont pressurize them .However once they have selected their goods you can ask them to create an account or better still ask them to do so after they have placed their order.

* Dont mass mail

Many e-commerce site owners think that mass mailing consumers world wide will help in increasing their business. Though the idea is good it doesnt work. Why?? These mails are nothing but spam and no internet user trusts a spam.

* Search engine friendly website

An ecommerce business flourishes only when it gets traffic. This traffic is possible when they get indexed by good search engines. Good search engines only index sites with keyword rich title tag, relevant META tag, and good relevant content.

So make sure your site has all these. Dont have too many flash images with very little content because search engines fail to index sites with too many images which in turn will hamper your traffic and ultimately your business.

* Fast loading

Ecommerce sites have to load at a faster pace thats how they make money. People using ordinary modems get bored easily if the site takes a long time to load and you end up loosing business. This generally happens if you place big images on the home page of your E-commerce site. So while designing your sites make sure you choose images accordingly.

* Attractive name

Giving your website an attractive name is a smart way of drawing the customers attention. For example, Pegasus InfoCorp Pvt. Ltd has designed and developed an E-commerce site known as Rupali online based in UK. This site sells exclusive readymade garments and has been having a huge turnover in the past few years in the UK. The name Rupali is attractive and easy for customers in the UK to remember without many hassles. Not only this but we at Pegasus InfoCorp Pvt. Ltd. have had the opportunity to design and develop various other E-commerce sites like Smartfashions, Smartkiddies wear etc which are also doing a great business in the UK.

* Active marketing

a. Registration in relevant top most search engines
b. Affiliate marketing

Panama Mortgage Investor Program

Introduction - Panama is a wonderful place for real estate investors. Panama is the number one retirement haven in the world. Panama is the number one tax haven in the world. Panama has the worlds second largest duty free-zone, Hong Kong being the worlds largest duty free zone. Panama is a city of about 9 square miles and has 135 real estate projects under construction in and around the city and another 50 or so projects not yet started. Now comes the Panama Canal expansion which will involve lots or workers and expenditures well into the billions of dollars. Panama real estate is in the early years of a boom cycle with steeply rising prices.

Why Mortgages? Because it is a secure way to realize a generous return on your investment. With real estate appreciation going the way it has been in the last two years your investment outlook is encouraging to say the least.

How does it work? We legally represent you the lender as your law firm in Panama. You use an offshore (outside of Panama) Corporation and bank account in a tax haven country to avoid any Panama taxation issues on the interest income generated from the loan payments as well as avoiding any taxation in the jurisdiction the corporation and bank are located. If the loan payments are sent to a bank offshore to Panama there would be no Panama taxation. A bearer share corporation in a tax haven out of Panama can be used to cover the transaction with anonymity or one could receive the funds into a personal bank account if they were not interested in anonymity. Only prime properties purchased at below market rates would be considered. The LTV would never exceed 75% and would be calculated against two appraisals from recognized appraisers. The borrower would be acquiring the real estate so these would be purchase money instruments, not refinancing, not construction, not land loans and not against commercial property, just residential property. The borrower would be using an anonymous Panama Bearer Share Corporation to acquire the real estate. The underwriting of the loan would be strictly against the property only. There would be no credit reports and no financial information on the borrowers to protect their privacy. The bearer share corporation that is buying the real estate would pledge the stock certificates of the corporation to the lender which essentially gives the lender the control over the real estate contractually in the event of a default. This would avoid normal foreclosure procedures. The contract between borrower and lender would stipulate that in the event three consecutive payments were not made, you the lender would have control of the property and would be able to sell it. The exact terms are negotiable. The borrower would not have a rental agreement. You can control how many consecutive payments would need to be missed but the borrower has to agree to the terms as well so they must be acceptable to both sides. We can arrange for a company to service the loan or you can do so yourself, there really isnt very much to do. In the event of a missed payment or default we can represent you as your law firm and inquire of the borrower, proceed to recover your investment, etc. We could arrange for annual inspections, etc. We can use several strategies to effectively maintain your privacy and anonymity as a lender.

Details Of course the rate of return is going to be an important consideration. You could figure on a rate of at least 1 % over the 5 year CD rate in a substantial Panama Bank. The rate is generally going to be fixed but a variable could be negotiated, depends on the borrower. The term of the loan can be 5 to 15 years. A 5 year interest only loan is popular. There are sixty payments, 59 payments are interest only on the entire principal and the 60th payment is a balloon payment for the principal. This means at the end of the five years the borrower must pay off the note, refinance, sell or roll the mortgage over if you are willing. On the other hand you could do a 15 year fully amortized mortgage. Prepayment penalties can be negotiated. If the properties are owner occupied or not will vary on a case by case basis. Borrowers will provide adequate property insurance made out in favor of the corporation owning the property. The borrowers often live in several countries and move around throughout the year. Generally the borrowers will not be Panama citizens, thus the borrowers will not be appearing in any Panama credit reports. Panamanians can get 90% financing from conventional lenders with terms extending out to 25 years depending on how old they are. Non-Panamanians have a hard time financing real estate in Panama especially if they are older and retired. Lenders will often ask them to post life insurance and require very large down payments like up to 40%. Owner financing in Panama is something rarely ever encountered. Property values will be at least $200,000 so the loan amount would be $150,000 as a minimum. It is difficult to find prime properties for less than this amount. We have no maximum value. Penthouses in the newer projects run in excess of one million dollars and are often 7,000 sq. ft. in size occupying a whole floor. Many single family homes are over 7,000 sq. ft. If we are dealing with a loan amount in excess of one million dollars one could generally expect a slightly higher interest rate.

How do I make a great website that will earn well? Simple! R.E.S.T.

Youve just learned this fantastic source of income called online gambling and you want to make as much money (if not more) than the people you know are making tons of it from online gambling. Good for you, but do you know where to start?

If you said yes, chances are, you really dont. Many an aspiring webmaster and big-spender wannabes always think all they need is a book or two on how to earn from the Internet and *poof*! Big bucks city! If only it were that easy. But then again, maybe it can be.

If you have the proper tools and the really important facts, however, you may be very well on your way to the mall, with a big toothy grin on your face and a fully loaded credit card to use.

Its real simple, you should just R.E.S.T.:

1. Research what kind of website you think will really earn you money. There are varieties of websites which can generate a huge amount of income for you, such as adult, gambling, hotel and reservations and the like. These are websites which people go to and spend on everyday. Pick what you think works the best for you and your prospective target market.

2. Establish and maintain a system for your website which you think your prospective market will like. By system I mean everything from the appearance of your site to the actual working capabilities of the site. A lot of times very good service and/or products will not mask the fact that your website really needs to be improved. Other times a website can look extremely good, but be peppered with links and tabs that dont work, or are simply blind links that send the clicker to who-knows-where.

3. Secure a payment system that is convenient to both you and your prospective clients. While the adage that the customer is always right still rings true to this day, it does not do your business well if you always get the short stick of the deal. A secure and convenient payment system will go a long way to winning your site much needed recommendations, from one satisfied customer to a new one. Remember this: customers will ONLY remember you if you are two things (a) really, really good (which you want) or (b) really, really bad (need I say it?). Satisfied customers will bring in more, disgruntled and unhappy ones can really hurt your website. When you work with a gambling merchant account provider, make sure it is a good one. Try eMerchantPay (http://www.emerchantpay.com), a merchant account provider that particularly caters to the gaming industry. It offers just the kind of service your niche requires including low-cost merchant accounts with no upfront fees, state-of-the-art gateway platform, easy integration with your checkout system and more.

4. Take the time to evaluate things. Once your website is up and running, it may take some time to earn money, but when you do, study the different perks and quirks your website may have. No website is perfect, but you should at least make sure that your source of income, your customers, is happy and stays happy with your site. Ask for feedback, and listen to any and all complaints you might receive. Oftentimes, complaints are valid concerns, and not just some pesky customer who buys too little and expects too much from you. Check if customers are happy with the online payment system. See if your gambling merchant account provider is doing a good job of properly processing payments. Evaluate and re-evaluate if you must, just make you sure you keep yourself abreast with what keeps people coming back to your website, and on how you can make it even better.

These are four basic and easy to follow guidelines, following and implementing them should prove to be no tall task for you. After all, you are in this to earn, might as well make what youre offering something really worth offering.

How To Make a Money Tree

Would you like to make money even when you are not at work? The secret is to design a business at home that will continue to pay you even if you stop working. This is what's called residual income. You can learn how to make a money tree that, once cultivated, continues to make you money with just a little bit of maintenance.

Residual income is a lot like earning royalties for writing a popular book or creating a pop song. You just work hard on it in the beginning and let the money flow in day and night for years to come.

Is residual income just a foolish dream? There are many enterprising people that turned their dream of earning residual income into reality. They learned how to make a money tree by understanding the business models available about creating residual income. You can also start learning these principles and start making your own residual income.

Writing a book is one of the most popular techniques of creating residual income, but there are many types of products that you can make such as software programs or even a physical product. The secret ingredient is to design your business of selling your product to be as automated as possible. One of the best methods on how to make a money tree is to set up your business so that you don't have to continue working as hard later.

You already have an idea of how this works when you write a book. Traditionally you would sign up with a publishing company to earn royalties or sell your book by yourself. You did the hard part of writing and perfecting the book. Then the fun part happens when you publish your book and collect your profits each time your book sells.

You can also sell a product by creating an online sales page on the Internet that will convince your audience of the benefits of purchasing it. The online sales page will continue to sell your product for you once you complete setting it up.

Everyone usually has a special knowledge or skill about a particular topic. Anyone can most likely find a topic worth writing about. If the thought of getting your book printed and shipped to your buyers seems a little daunting, then you can easily write your book in PDF format that buyers can download from your website immediately after purchasing it.

Create a professional sales page to share lots of information about your product with your prospective buyer. Brush up on your marketing skills and remember to automate the system as much as possible. Learn how to make a money tree and you will make a system that will sell your work even when you don't.

If you are not ready to create your own product yet, you can make an online system selling other people's product and earn commissions. Many online businesses make use of affiliate programs to easily grow their sales force. Joining an affiliate program is free and the businesses will share their profits through commissions.

Once you do develop a book or product of your own, you can get your own sales force by starting your own affiliate program. The affiliates you recruit will refer customers to you and you compensate them through the sales they generate. This is another great example of residual income. Learn how to make a money tree and you will have the knowledge to build another on top of another until you have an orchard of money trees all earning you multiple streams of income. You could be living your dream life so learn how to make a money tree!

How To Make Real Money On Ebay And Work From Home

In this article I am going to explain step by step how it is possible to make real money using online auction websites like Ebay, Ebid, Yahoo Auctions etc...

You will be making good money in no time if you just follow these simple steps

The first thing you should consider is what product to sell(sounds obvious does`nt it) but you will be amazed at how many people are selling things that make very little profit or do not sell at all.

To do your research go to Ebay and have a look at the completed listings of the product you are thinking of selling and you can see how many are selling, how much the price changes and also what is not selling.

One of the main differences to whether your item sells or not is the listing you write to describe your item, you need to be able to put some real passion in the description and make the prospect buyer feel as though he is missing out if he/she leaves the auction. Also if you include a picture(good quality) that will make a big difference and always go for the option to make your listing have a little picture shown in the listings.

Simple steps like this will explode the sales you make with your products.

However I have been trading on Ebay for three years and I have found the best products that sell are info products.

They are easy to create and require no room to keep and best of all people will pay good money to learn about something you know about.

I guess you are thinking "I would`nt know where to start!" but believe me it is easier then you think, the reason being is you have a wealth of knowledge under your fingertips on almost every subject in the world!

You can use the internet to research a product and then write a few chapters down and create an ebook in a few days.

I will be writing another article about the steps you have to go through to research the info in another article, but if you really can`t get started or have`nt got the time you can check out my Bio for my website and more info on an ebook and a listing that sells like hotcakes!

In the meantime I wish you all the best, follow the above advice and you will be working from home in no time!

Hi My Name is Chris Jones I currently work from home and make my money through Ebay and Affiliate marketing and a whole host of other techniques.Margarita Blog79812

Lawsuit Loan! No-Risk Legal Finance!!

Lawsuit Loan! No-Risk Legal Finance!!

99% of plaintiffs involved in lawsuits don't realize they can get cash advance before their case settles. It is called Lawsuit funding or often referred as Lawsuit loans, Legal finance, Lawsuit cash advance or Personal injury settlement. But these are not loans because the money does not have to be paid back unless the case is won or settled.

These are non- recourse cash advances. It carries no risk because plaintiffs owe nothing if they lose the case. The client must be represented by an Attorney, and need money prior to settlement due to financial hardship.

Lawsuit loan or Legal finance can provide a very timely financial solution to help plaintiffs who are having financial difficulties. Usually the plaintiff's financial hardship is the result of being injured and not being able to work.

Mostly plaintiffs have missed work or lost their job and can no longer meet their mortgage/ rent or car payments. Many of them may be one or two payments away from foreclosures. They may be in need of medical treatments. They need to pay children's education expenses.

But now these new Lawsuit loans are great help to plaintiffs. In the past, these claimants have needed to accept lesser settlement amounts due to pressing financial difficulties. Now, clients can sustain their personal lives and give the attorney the necessary time to achieve the full value of the case.

The process to receive Lawsuit loan or Legal finance is risk free & simple. There is no application or upfront fees. Approval is fast. Plaintiff may have a bad or no credit. There are no monthly payments. They pay back only when they win or settle the case. They owe nothing if they lose the case. They can use the cash advance in any way they like.

Legal Finance: How does it work? This total process is confidential, prompt and discreet:

1. The first step is to complete an Application Form. Making an application is free and there is no obligation
2. Plaintiff authorizes attorney to release case information to underwriters
3. Quick and thorough underwriting process to qualify client.
4. If approved plaintiff completes funding agreement
5. Bank check delivered to plaintiff
6. Plaintiff payback upon successful settlement/verdict of case
7. If plaintiff loses case, plaintiff owes nothing to funding company

Legal Finance is available for many types of cases. Some of them are:

A. Personal Injury, Automobile Accidents, Pedestrian injury any Type
B. Pharmaceutical Litigation like Zyprexa etc.
C. Asbestos / Mesothelioma lawsuit
D. Tobacco/Smoking cases
E. Slip & Fall Cases, Burn Injuries
F. Nursing Home Abuses
G. Breach of Contract
H. Class Action/Product Liability
I. Employment Discrimination
J. Judgments, Verdicts, Appeals
K. Malpractice: Medical-Legal, Accounting, Construction etc.
L. Harassment: Sexual/Rape, Any Type
M. Workers Comp. cases (not in all cases)
N. Wrongful Termination
O. Wrongful Death
P. Patent or Copyright infringement & other Intellectual Property
Q. Real Estate Disputes
And Many More...

A lot of people & businesses are being forced to settle early for way less than they deserve because they simply can't afford to wait any longer. There is no reason for them to settle for less than their case is worth.

Small Business Marketing Tip: Conduct A Marketing Crusade

Let me ask you a question. The answer is to the question is critical to your business success.

Do you fully understand the real nature of the business you are in?

Your instant response is of course, I'm in the [put your industry name here] business. For example, you probably said, of course, I'm in the real estate business, or the plumbing business, or the printing business, etc.

But that is only partly correct if you are the owner of the business. As the business owner, the real nature of your business is marketing the business you are in.

You may have the greatest service or the best product in the world, but if no one knows about it, you will soon be out of business.

One method of increasing the exposure of your business to your potential customers, is to conduct a marketing crusade.

You can compare this marketing approach to a missionarys work or the launching of a crusade because only the fervor and the determination of a missionary or crusader will assure your marketing success.

Missionaries are driven by more than just their desire to sell someone on buying their product or service. Rather, a missionarys goal is to convert the world to their way of thinking, their mission and their crusade. Only through such a conversion process can you expect to receive not just a customer, but customers for life.

When your business launches a marketing mission, it takes a different approach than traditional marketing.

Traditional approaches are taken and set aside in favor of our missionary or crusaders goal. In a traditional marketing effort, the real motivation for most marketing activity is just to make money. Thats nice to do, but thats not all we need.

Every marketing effort, at this point, is tied directly back to its contribution to money coming in.

Now, as a missionary, your business goal becomes an effort to win your customers lifetime business and loyalty. If your business marketing activity is successful in changing the way your customers think about your business or products or services in such a way that the customer sees you as a vehicle to accomplish their goal and growth, then your goals and your growth will be a natural result.

As your business manages its sales growth properly, increased profit is going to follow. Immediate profits are nowhere near as important as long-term profits. To insure that youre going to continue to profit for the long-term, your real objective is to convert your prospect into a customer who shares your vision of what youre trying to accomplish and is a true believer.

Vision is a problem with the normal sales approach. There is no vision other than the short-term, which is to make the immediate sale. There is little or no real focus on back-end selling and the life time value of a customer, which well talk more about later on.

What is your vision?

Is your business focused on an area of interest to your customers, prospects or clients?

Are you driven fervently by the need to help them or yourself?

Why should others patronize your business rather than any other business? Or not do anything at all?

What can you do that will not only cause your customers to return again and again, but cause them to tell others to buy your products and services as well?

Can you take that vision and incorporate it with a main sales and marketing thrust, advantage or Unique Selling Proposition and use that for an advantage over your competitors?

A good marketing crusade will integrate all this together and soon have customers coming to you as a result of what Dan Kennedy calls a Magnetic Marketing System. If you were Jiffy Lube, you might call it a well oiled marketing machine.

What Does The Prospective Employer Want ? Get That Job !

How can you work towards getting that job or career you want and desire?

When you go fishing you take worms. This is what the fish want. You may like strawberry pie. This is not what the fish like.

In the same way ask what is that the employer you wish to have hired you wants and is looking for in job candidates.

Employers want to hire people who will make their businesses more successful. The most desirable employees have the specific skills, transferable career competencies, work values and personal qualities necessary to be successful in the employers organization.

The more clearly you convey your skills as they relate to your job target, the greater your chance of landing that ideal job.

Employers seek employees with job-specific skills i.e. skills and technical abilities that relate specifically to a particular job. For example two examples of job specific are using specialized tools and equipment and using a custom designed software program.

Even then there is constant change in todays business and career world. Strong transformable career skills are the very keys to success in managing your career through change. The most influential skills and attitudes are the abilities to work well with people, plan and manage multiple tasks (multi tasking) while maintaining a positive attitude and showing enthusiasm.

Employers need workers who have transferable career competencies that are basic skills and attitudes that are important for all types of work. These skills will make you highly marketable because they are needed for a wide variety of jobs and can be transferred from one task, job or workplace to another. Examples of these skills include your planning, research, communication, human relations, interpersonal skills as well as critical thinking and management skills.

In every occupation that you wish to obtain that job transferable competencies are as important as technical expertise and job specific skills.

You must be flexible in your career planning.

Changing technologies and a global economy are causing some careers to become obsolete or to vastly change.

Broaden your job options.

Prepare to qualify for two closely related job opening types that require related education, training and general capabilities. What are the transferable career competencies that you have to qualify for jobs and between career clusters?

A knowledgeable career counselor can help to identify those multilayer goals appropriate for your specific interests and abilities.

You should continually work and strive to develop your career flexibility and as well pursue lifelong ongoing learning and interests. Together with your friends, family and associates define and enlarge your personal career objectives and targets. Think about work, hobbies and volunteer experiences that you have enjoyed in the past.

What kind of work do you want to do and enjoy. Where would you like to do this kind of work? How much do you want to get paid for your work? What is the best career match for your unique skills m experiences, values and interests?

Preparation is not only desirable but essential in getting that job both in terms of identifying the skills and attributes that the employers wants in order for you to have the skills both in terms of acquiring and presentation of those skills both necessary and essential in the prospective employers mind .

And You Thought It No Longer Matters

It is quite simple that is, age is directly proportional to ones skill and knowledge. Meaning that as a person is chiselled by time and experience, the more he becomes an asset to the working environment he is serving.

Consequently, being an asset to the corporation he is working in, his compensation increases, and benefits increased. The irony is that in the present day and age, this is a misnomer.

Age in the present time is perceived as a disease, slowly creeping up an individual with every year that passes. It serves as a degenerative illness that makes the aged employee weak, and prone to mistakes that would be detrimental to the interest of the company, which at the end of the day is utilized as the proximate reason why an employee is removed from work.

This situation is detrimental to the purpose a working environment which must aim to provide a good life for its employees, particularly those who spent a huge bulk of their lifetime producing for the company. Removing them at this sensitive stage, would be nothing more than adding insult to injury.

Labor is a social economic force, so essential in fact that without it the production process would not be as progressive as it is in the present time.

Hence, the state, with all the pervasive powers vested in it, assumes the responsibility in protecting the same. But despite laws passed protecting the rights and welfare of the working force in society, still the fact that their rights are trumped upon and abused is still a given. An employee who has been removed on the sole basis that he has aged has a cause of action against the employer that did the same. A vested right to file a case for discrimination in the workplace on the basis of age is prevalent in this scenario.

As the case usually is, the employer tries to find any other ground to terminate the services of an employee aside from the fact that he is already old. Reasons ranging from he is not competent to comply with the rigors of work, a sudden complaint of management or customers, or a dismissal on the ground of redundancy or to save on cost.

Yet our experience has it, that these are merely a distraction fro what the proximate cause really is, and that is because of the age of the employee.

7 Features of an Effective Email Signature That Gets Results

How well is your email signature working for you? For most people who use email, an email signature is just a basic contact information signature file that they append to their emails without giving it much thought, if they choose to use an email signature at all. However, for online business owners, an email signature can be the least expensive yet most effective tool in your online business marketing toolkit. Why? Because it enables you to promote yourself and your business without any blatant advertising. It's like sending a business card with a call to action in every single email that you send.

Where should you be using your email signature? Here's a quick list:

--on every single piece of email that you send to friends, family members, colleagues, etc. from your computer's email program (Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.)

--in every email that you send in response to a posting on email discussion lists

--in every posting that you make on an online discussion forum

--anytime you send a broadcast email out to your list through your email broadcast service

You never know where you email will end up (how many emails do you forward in one day?) nor who will be reading it, so it pays to attach an effective email signature to everything that you do. It serves as a wonderfully effective free marketing tool that works for you 24/7. I've gotten countless subscribers to my newsletter from simply using a compelling call to action in my email signature.

What are the components of an effective email signature? I've seen horribly long email signatures (as many as 20 lines), signatures missing basic contact information, and email signatures that leave me thinking, "So what?". Here's how you can create an effective email signature that will help you get clients online:

1. Keep it short. Nothing is worse than reading an email signature that's longer than the email itself. To be most effective, limit yourself to no more than 7 lines. As you participate in discussion lists or online forums, the list moderators may limit your signature to as few as 5 lines. So, just like you make your printed business card "Rolodex proof" (i.e. don't put essential contact info at the bottom of the card where it will be lost when holes are punched into it for your Rolodex), keep your most essential info in the first 5 lines of your signature file. That way, if some info is cut off when you post to a discussion forum, it won't be the essential info that you want to convey. Better yet, do as I do and create various email signature files for different uses, including ones specifically created to comply with the rules of various discussion lists to which I belong.

2. Include only essential contact info. This would include your name and title or tag line, as appropriate, phone number, website, and email address. The phone number and email address may be optional, depending on the purpose of your email and how it might be displayed (for example, sometimes an email discussion list will post your email address automatically in the body of your post, so you can use that space in your signature for something else).

Don't list every single way that someone can contact you -- only the most important, essential methods that you prefer. I've seen some email signatures contain 5 phone numbers. The lines listing those phone numbers can be much more effectively used for another purpose. And, make sure your email address is the email address at your website. Sometimes you might not get the option of posting your website URL, so if you can only post an email signature, savvy readers can ascertain your website URL from your signature. Don't use your email signature real estate to give any more free publicity to Yahoo, Google, AOL, Earthlink, or any number of other ISPs.

3. Make an offer for a free introductory product. What's your free giveaway on your site -- an ecourse, email newsletter, special report, ebook, audio or video clips? Give people a reason to visit your site by offering your freebie in your email signature. If your freebie contains info that they want, publicizing it in your email signature is a definite way to get them to visit your website.

4. Auto sendout. Every email program has the capability to automatically append an email signature to every piece of email that you send. Make sure that feature is turned on in your email program so that you don't miss any valuable marketing opportunities. It's tough to contact you if your email is missing its signature file.

5. Plain text or HTML? I'm still a big fan of sending out plain text emails for day-to-day correspondence. For the most part, I don't use fancy fonts or special colors or formatting in my signature file. I want my email signature to be clearly displayed in any email program, and plain text is the best way to accomplish that. There are services like Plaxo (for users of Microsoft Outlook) that will let you create a business card image that is appended to your email as your email signature and import that into Outlook. However, I don't use Outlook and I find these cumbersome, as there isn't a way to cut and paste the sender's contact info into my contact database. Additionally, many online discussion lists and forums don't accept images or HTML in their posts. So, even though the business card images look pretty, I would encourage you to stick with a plain text email signature.

6. Make it clickable. Because you never know what email program your recipient is using, type in a few extra characters in the email address and website URL lines of your email signature file to guarantee that the link will be clickable. For a website URL, type in the entire URL, starting with http:// rather than simply www. to make sure that your link is universally clickable. For your email address, adding mailto: at the beginning of your email address, i.e. mailto:yourname@youremailaddress.com will enable the reader to click on that link and will open a blank email addressed to you in any email program.

7. Use a border. Having a simple border to separate your name as you end an email from your email signature will lessen the confusion as to what is considered the main text of the email versus the email signature. ASCII characters like == or ~~~ will create a simple border that is effective but not distracting.

Management Features of Sales Force Automation

Sales force automation, or SFA, is a term that refers at its most basic to automating critical sales functions like lead and account management. Sales force automation uses software to automate sales tasks like order processing, lead generation, information sharing, contact management, customer management, and employee evaluation.

It also keeps track of customer preferences, buying habits, demographics, and performance management. Sales force automation tools improve field sales productivity and open whole new realms of possibility for companies. With an on-demand architecture that allows effective sales force management and CRM, managing sales information is easy on even the largest scales. Essentially, customers and sales employees can manage and share any type of information.

There are a number of benefits and features that come with sales force automation technology, and these features comprise the backbone of the SFA system. They include:

Lead management

Lead management allows companies to keep better track of leads by ensuring they don't get cold. This can reduce or eliminate the need for manual routing and lead assignment duplication, clearly defines opportunity assignments, and is able to automatically assign leads to the correct individual based on territory, product expertise or user-defined rules. Thus SFA allows for automatic load leveling across sales territories, and better relationships between team members.

For example, with automatic lead management, you can set security controls that ensure teams or partners can access only their own leads, increase lead conversion rates and improve sales response times.

Opportunity management

Opportunity management allows sales teams to work better as units by standardizing sales methods and systems, identifying bottlenecks, and tracking deal closures. It also allows employees to focus their resources on strengthening key partnerships and dominating key competitors instead of competing with each other. More organized sales teams allow managers to delegate tasks and set up automatic reminder emails for themselves and their team.

Most importantly, the opportunity management feature allows companies to centrally track custom information like partner and customer communications and milestones while simultaneously monitoring myriad sales processes like sales channels, service effectiveness or product lines.

Account management

An account management system ensures that your company is able to attain full knowledge of your customer accounts. Accurate knowledge of customer account equals better collaboration amongst your sales teams and retains lasting customer relationships. Additionally, account management allows a company to defines and evaluate all those involved with the account, from the project manager to the executive sponsor.

With account management, you can set up online access to all customer account information, like organization charts and current partners-across the entire company. No one is left in the dark and everyone knows the account status and history.

Territory Management

On-demand, advanced territory management capabilities allow you to adjust to rapid changes within your company. An easy point-and-click interface ensures your company can automatically route accounts and opportunities to the correct territories.

A solid territory management system also decreases lag time in lead assignments by ensuring a lead never gets cold; lead assignments are easily queued and automatically sent to the correct territory. In essence, territory management allows companies to easily monitor, set up, gather, transfer, assign, re-assign, and change accounts across territories.

Contract Management

Contract management is another integral feature in sales force automation. Essentially, it allows companies to manage a contract's lifespan by shortening approval cycles for contracts, renewing contracts sooner, and reducing administrative costs.

This SFA feature improves tracking and management of contract information, such as value, conditions, terms, evaluations, and more.

Traditionally, most companies have had to build, buy and sustain an IT software system all on their own; however, this leads to extremely high maintenance fees and myriad other costs. Today, the advent of automated sales force technology allows businesses to subscribe to already built, on-demand, customizable services that provide everything a traditional IT software does and more.

The architecture of sales force automation allows for a decrease in the total cost of ownership, reduction of risk factors, a decrease in wasted time, and a new focus on business and management rather than technology.

How to offer CDs and DVDs on a Budget

Many Internet businesses sell intellectual property. For example, they sell a book, eBook, audio CD, DVD, or software. Selling intellectual property can be very lucrative. You can sell intellectual property that is in a digital format such as an eBook. You can have customers download the eBook directly off of your website.

Downloading a digital product is easy, but what if you want to send a CD or DVD to your customer? Many customers still prefer an actual CD or DVD. If you offer these products then you have to deal with fulfillment of packaging and shipping. You can work through a fulfillment company, but many fulfillment companies provide less than desirable services.

So how do you act as your own fulfillment company? Lets say that you have digital MP3 audios that you want to put into CD format. You also have an eBook that you want to print and send as a hard copy book. You also are new to the Internet business scene and are on a tight budget.

The good news is that you can burn the CD and print the book yourself. Buy a CD and DVD burner program called BravoPro. BravoPro lets you burn CDs and DVDs quickly and easily. You can burn CDs and DVDs at your home. You can print out the CD and DVD covers yourself.

Tip: Dont buy BravoPro off of EBay just to save a few bucks. If you do then you wont have access to BravoPro support. So if your program breaks or you have questions about features than you are left out in the cold.

The next question is how to package the CDs and DVDs. You need a CD jewel case and/or a DVD case. Did you know that you can actually find DVD cases for free? Head out to your local Blockbuster. They often throw out DVD cases after a hit movie goes onto the regular shelves. So go to your local Blockbuster and ask them when they throw out their DVD cases. They will often be happy to give you the DVD boxes. Using the free DVD cases will save you loads of money.

Burning your own CDs and DVDs is fun at first, but after awhile you may want to outsource the job. Its up to you. Just know that you can provide fulfillment for these types of products on a budget.

Why Go Offshore?

Introduction - Today we read about a large number of people from a variety of different countries going offshore. By going offshore we mean opening offshore bank accounts, forming offshore companies and offshore foundations in tax haven countries. Some are even opening offshore stock trading accounts. This sort of activity and gets a lot of people wondering why all this sudden excitement over offshore banking and offshore corporations. Well try to provide some answer.

Taxes Most people think the rush to go offshore is to avoid taxation which would in their minds explain why most are going to tax haven countries to form their offshore corporations and open their offshore bank accounts. A tax haven country is a country where offshore derived income is not taxed. The jurisdiction will usually look towards taxation on imported goods to derive their tax base. Generally a tax haven jurisdiction such as Panama will also not have any capital gains tax, no inheritance tax and corporate taxes are generally fixed in the form of a few hundred dollars that is paid each year as the filing fee for the corporation. Some countries allow people to earn money when offshore or out of their country tax free and other countries allow for partial exemptions and others offer no break of any sort. We do feel that people are going offshore for reasons other than tax avoidance or minimization. We often see large corporations are shifting their activities outside of their home country for reasons other than taxation although taxation is probably in there as a determining factor as well. Their operating expenses are so high there are precious few net profit dollars left to be taxed. These companies are trying to stay competitive in their market and are choking on the expenses associated with employee wages, employee benefits, employee medical plan premiums, litigation insurance premiums, discrimination lawsuits, unjust termination lawsuits, retirement benefits, disability insurance premiums, unemployment insurance premiums, and standards for health and safety imposed by their respective governments in the workplace which then brings us to high costs associated with office space. Few if any of these expenses follows the large corporation when they move offshore. Taxes tend to come into play but that is only one small piece of the equation. Today we see a large amount of phone rooms coming to Panama. These are usually not new jobs being created, they are jobs moving to Panama from other countries. These jobs are generally customer service jobs, support jobs and soft sales jobs where the salesperson offers more explanation than sales pressure. The companies tend to save in many ways enabling them to be competitive and offer a competitive level of service to their customers. Of course the effect of companies moving from the large North American and Western European countries is damaging to say the least to those economies they are departing from.

Privacy Concerns Let us look at some of the reasons why people move their assets to a offshore tax haven that is also a privacy haven like Panama.

1) Tax Haven Status These people already under the burden of taxation from many of their home countries do not want additional tax burdens. Contrary to popular belief most of the money moving offshore has already been taxed by the various home countries and if there are additional taxes it would be too burdensome. They want to be free of additional taxes.

2) Privacy People like to be as private as possible in their financial affairs. How many of you would stroll through any major city of the world today openly displaying a solid gold Rolex full of diamonds along with a nice large diamond ring? Not too many! Why? Because you do not want to run the risk of becoming a victim of robbery or assault. So what do you think is different about having expensive real estate in your own name, boats, planes, bank accounts etc. Nothing is different. People with large amounts of assets are a target and they have every right to keep there financial affairs as private as possible and in many countries it is essential to their health.

3) Kidnapping In many countries kidnapping victims are selected based on real estate holdings. The advantages to putting real estate in the name of an anonymous Panama bearer share corporation are obvious. When people look up the real estate they can not tell who the natural persons are behind the corporation that owns the real estate. In Panama the owners of the stock of a bearer share corporation do not appear in any public registry or database. When it comes time to sell the real estate the corporation that owns the real estate is sold, not the real estate. This prevents would be kidnappers from following real estate sales reports to look for potential victims thus protecting the subsequent owner. The same applies to the ownership of a yacht or an airplane. Another popular method of determining who is a good kidnapping victim is to have a bank employee on the payroll who scours through the files at the bank finding wealthy people for you. If you live in one country and bank say in Panama this doesnt work very well since the kidnappers would need to cultivate bank employees in Panama who could isolate victims for them in their own country. This narrows the field quite a bit especially when you take into account that in Panama a bank employee is risking a felony to violate bank secrecy which is far from the case in many other countries that routinely complain about bank secrecy and offshore jurisdictions.

4) Identity Theft Of course the prime identity theft target is one who has wealth and thus is capable of carrying large amounts of credit. With generally non existent bank privacy let alone secrecy in many countries scoundrels are free to roam through credit reports with bank details, credit card details etc and plan a devastating identity theft attack. These crooks even order private detective reports on their victims to really learn as much as they can about them. Of course the public records databases are all too accommodating providing details like drivers license records, who owns the loan on their house, cars, boats etc, what credit cards they have and so forth. Credit bureau secrecy is non-existent as evidenced by the vast amount of identity theft and credit card fraud. Offshore banks in Panama and other offshore privacy jurisdictions due to bank secrecy do not report to any credit bureaus. If you do not need credit why have regular credit cards. Use offshore bank debit cards that just sweep the money directly out of your bank account and thus you stay private with how much you spend and how much credit you have not appearing in any credit reports. The history of your purchases would also be immensely harder for say a private detective to get from an offshore bank, they seem to have no trouble getting this date from regular banks in many countries.

5) Frivolous Litigation In many countries lawyer can operate on contingency and like to sue those who have deep pockets. The best way to see how deep a persons pockets are is to run an asset check on them. If their assets are all private like they bank in bank secrecy jurisdictions like Panama, have real estate owned by anonymous Panama Foundations or anonymous Panama Corporations then the asset check will come back low on assets, probably too low to invest a lot of time and money in frivolous litigation. This also keeps the persons assets free of pre-trial attachment which is a favorite trick of unethical attorneys that is allowed in most of these non-privacy jurisdictions.

6) Privacy Some people just want to keep their affairs private and they should be able to do just that.

Plugin Profit Site?

What is a plugin profit site?

Believe it or not, there are people who will build a website for you online that is ready built to bring you in a monthly residual income. All you need to do, is promote the site.

The type of home business setups that I am referring to are called plugin sites.

Of course there are no guarantees that these types of programs will work for you, that depends on the work you put in and how effective your marketing of the site becomes. Many of these plugin systems have been operating online for years which is testament to how successful they are.

How do they work and what's in it for the creators of plugin sites?

Well, the concept behind most plugin systems is based around affiliate marketing. Anyone who sets themselves up as an affiliate online sells other people products and services for a profit.

The creators of plugin profit sites usually join a number of successful affiliate programs. Then, in their turnkey system they add their affiliate links. So, anyone who avails of their services to get a website setup, is actually joining the affiliate programs under them and that's how they earn their money for the work they do. After all, no one is going to set up a website for you unless there is something in it for them, right?

So, as it turns out, everyone is a winner. You get your site set up with a plugin income and the website and system creators earn their share when you upgrade in any of the affiliate programs they have set up for you.

How do you earn?

You earn by sending visitors to your plug in profit site. A certain per centage of interested prospects will sign up to get the system themselves and in turn will join the affiliate programs under you. When they upgrade or pay for any of the affiliate services you earn a commission and have a check sent to your home at the end of every month.

The most effective plugin programs will set up both a newsletter and website. That way, you have a built-in email system for keeping in touch with your prospects and website visitors. It's a good idea to check if an email autoresponder is in place before signing up.

Most site setups will also include an easy way for you to register your web domain and hosting. After all, without these you do not have a business.

Plug in systems are undoubtedly an effective way to make money online with less effort than having to set up your own website with your own products, custom design, and other complicated web intracacies.

Army Correspondence Courses - Preparing For Your Future

The United States Army is an education-driven force. Whether you plan on a career in the Armed Forces or not, Army correspondence courses are available to prepare you for your future career.

The Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP)

The Army Correspondence Course Program helps you keep your skills current and prepare for advancement in your military career. As you complete modules, you earn points toward promotion. Each module has several subcourses in it that you complete one at a time.

The Army Correspondence Course Program gives you training specific to your professional field. You can take courses for skill qualification development or to advance in your MOS, too.

eArmyU

eArmyU is a program that the Army sponsors that allows you to take college courses over the internet on your off-duty time. eArmyU helps you prepare for a future non-military career, or to simply take courses for your own personal interest and development.

Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)

DANTES provides military personell with educational opportunities compatible with the military lifestyle. You can take career training or college courses through several different DANTES programs. DANTES is very cutting edge and innovative in the way education is delivered to deployed troops. They utilize traditional learning, satellite courses, e-learning, video, courses that you can download to a PDA and even Podcast classes.

Many colleges and universities are authorized to provide distance learning through DANTES. You can take specific courses that you need for degree completion, earn a college degree, or take vocational career training through DANTES sponsored educational providers.

Military lifestyle makes traditional education difficult. Your education can be interrupted at any time by deployment or transfer. The Army has educational programs to compensate for that by providing courses in a distance-learning format.

If you plan on continuing your military career you can prepare for promotion and advancement through the Army Correspondence Course Program. You can even enter the Green to Gold Enlisted Commissioning program by earning a degree and entering Officer Training.

If you do not plan on continuing in the military, you can prepare for a post-military career. Army correspondence courses will help you.

Disadvantages of Online Courses

Online learning has some disadvantages, too. Some people learn better in a traditional classroom. They need the live interaction with an instructor and other students. Online classes may try to simulate classroom interaction, but they cannot duplicate it.

In order to succeed at online learning, you have to have some specific skills. You have to be self-motivated, responsible for your own learning and have good time management skills. If you don't have those skills, traditional classes may be a better choice for you.

One huge disadvantage of online courses, especially if you are talking about e-learning grids and virtual educational communities, is accessibility. Not everyone has ready access to a computer with an internet connection. Without that access, online learning is hard.

Online education is so portable and flexible for so many people that it's easy to miss the disadvantages. If online education were the best choice for every person every time, we wouldn't need brick-and-mortar schools, would we? There are both advantages and disadvantages of online courses.

Dean Iggo is the webmaster of http://www.continuingstudy.com where you can find the best distance learning programs and degrees to suit your needs.Mufinella Blog91528
